Gretchen Pleuss
Gretchen Pleuss
"As with some of her proudly stated musical heroes, which include Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, and Ani Difranco, Pleuss keeps the music above the standard, three-chord, coffee-house troubadour sound with some cool chord progressions (a la Mitchell) and grooves. Pleuss also trusts her lilting melodies enough to use her quiet, emotive alto to sell her lyrics." - Malcolm X Abram, The Akron Beacon Journal

To date, Pleuss has played at an array of venues throughout the United States, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Peru, and Ecuador and opened for prominent acts such as Lisa Loeb, Loudon Wainwright, Chely Wright, Damien Jurado, and Griffin House. Pleuss' discography includes two E.P.'s and two full-length albums. Her 2013 release, Out of Dreams, was produced by Jim Wirt (Fiona Apple, Brian Setzer, Incubus) and can be downloaded from iTunes. Her most recent release, From Birth to Breath to Bone, was self-produced and is available on vinyl or compact disc.
M. Moody
M. Moody
M. Moody is a funk-rock / alt-soul band from Cleveland, OH. What started as a solo project for front man, Matt Miller, eventually developed into a band format over time. The rhythm section delivers a shiny, syncopated, combination of drum & bass. The unit at its core consists of Matt Miller (Vox/Gtr), Todd Marshall (Bass), and Pat Boland (Drums), with Miller being the sole songwriter.
Miller started writing songs around the age of 17 for his high school project. He has since worked in Nashville where he learned to hone his craft. Vulnerable and slightly un-orthodox, these songs seek to evoke an emotional well-spring that "washes away the dust of everyday life".
Shetler Jones
Shetler Jones
A hypnotic duo intertwining soul, folk, and bewitching harmonies. The Shetler Jones duo features two singer-songwriters from Cleveland’s blues/folk scene. Nate Jones, the front man of the Nate Jones Band & Jessica Shetler, the front woman of Top Hat Black.
