Brian Sands (Kinchy) was an area musician, artist, photographer, amateur filmaker, & songwriter. He played in local bands Moses, Mouse, & Milk which played teen clubs like Cyrus Eire West, & the Hullabaloo clubs. He also played in Pittsburgh & all around Northeast Ohio. He opened for Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, & Canned Heat. After Milk, he attempted to start a one man project called Brian Bulldog. He formed the first David Bowie fan club in America. He formed BizArt records. He support BizArt releases with Brian Sands and the Confusions. He played the Phantasy Night Club, the Mistake, the Lakefront, and Tookey’s. He also recorded a R& B cover of "I'm Afraid the Masquerade is Over” (David Porter). Brian's last recordings were of original country music tunes. He tried to sell these to country artists in Los Angeles. Lately he confined his social activity to Facebook. I was told he had cancerous conditions. He was found DOA at his house on 9/28/18.
