The Burkharts

The Burkharts bring a dose of sun-soaked nostalgia from the shores of Buffalo, NY. Blending breezy melodies with jangly guitars, their indie surf-pop sound drifts somewhere between a 1960s Californian daydream and modern lo-fi charm. Frontman Trevor pens the tunes while his brother Gavon keeps time on the drums, joined by Austin, Luke, and James to complete the band’s retro-tinged rhythm section. Their latest single, “Tell Me,” is out now—perfect for late-night drives and golden-hour memories.

Hailing from Long Island, NY, Danny began piano at six, gradually evolving into a standout singer-songwriter. in recent years, Danny has also broadened his reach as a live musician, including touring as a keyboardist with The Lemon Twigs and Sunflower Bean, while steadily building his solo catalog.

What’s bold is new again and what’s original never truly goes out of style. That is the thesis behind ‘Only Fools Love Again,’ setting it and its author, Danny Ayala, up for long-term success and a tenure-track rotation on any discerning pop fan’s turntable. The touring bassist and keyboardist with glam and power pop wunderkinds, THE LEMON TWIGS, strikes again! ‘Only Fools Love Again’ ranks near the top of an extremely short list of pop revival offerings that transcend sonic posturing and mere tribute-act dress-up pastiche. A forward-facing throwback, showing off a range of influences both new and old, digital and analog, ‘Only Fools Love Again’ is THE NEW Long Island Sound and it comes highly recommended. Get ‘Only Fools Love Again’ today and baby you can go all the way.

Geared to the specific sound and style of early mid 1960s Britain, Jack McLaughlin draws inspiration from artists like; “The Who” for instrument abandon; “The Small Faces” for soul and grit; and “The Beatles” for definitive composition.

The lyrics and melodies offer fresh perspective on being young and positive while the slightly broken brightness of the twelve string tone rings through rhythms and catches the ear during leads. The writing flare is unique and includes middle eight chord progressions that welcome the melodic choruses.

Jack earned his BA in music at Cleveland State University in May of 2025 and his associates degree in Recording Arts at Tri-C. He is working on his third full length album and can be seen at local Cleveland venues with his band Jack & The Optimists. Playing out live since he was sixteen, Jack is a seasoned performer and puts on a great show.
