



The Morning Bird is an americana rocknroll band from Cleveland, Ohio formed in early 2018 by singer/songwriter Jeremy Taylor and guitarist Daniel Rice after having had played together for several months prior. The Morning Bird has a sound that delves rock, country and folk soundscapes. Jeremy and Daniel began playing out as a duo and has gained a growing fan base in the Cleveland area. After a few months of playing as a duo, Jeremy and Daniel recruited bassistMark Mazak and drummer David Shullenberger, both local musicians in June 2018. The band recorded their first single “Sweet Wine” and released it in November of 2018. The Morning Bird released their debut EP entitled Lonesome Leaving Sound on July 12th, 2019 with a release party at Mahall’s in Lakewood, Ohio.
Ryan Moore joined the band on drums in late 2019 and Jeremy Summer joined the band on bass in early 2020. The band recorded two live music videos at Mindrocket Studios in June of 2020 and has released a number of singles since while playing shows throughout Ohio. In 2024, the band took up a monthly residency at Jenks Building in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
The new album Dying Since The Day I Was Born is an album of songs about love and the lack thereof. Songs of longing for something more, while remembering the days gone by.
