Houseplant is a Louisville, Kentucky-based band whose music blends improvisation, indie-rock songwriting, lush psychedelic soundscapes, and groove-driven rhythms. Their songs provide the foundation for live performances that are immersive, dynamic, and never played exactly the same way twice.
While improvisation is central to the band's identity, Houseplant places equal importance on memorable songwriting, lyrical depth, and thoughtful arrangements. Their live shows move naturally between tightly crafted compositions and spontaneous exploration, allowing each performance to develop its own character while remaining rooted in the songs themselves.
Whether performing intimate clubs or festival stages, Houseplant creates an experience that rewards both attentive listening and collective celebration. The band's collaborative approach and musical curiosity continue to shape a sound that is unmistakably their own.
