For over 25 years, The Dollyrots have been a shining example of how to mix raw punk energy with catchy bubblegum melodies, all while living life entirely on their terms. Fronted by bassist and vocalist Kelly Ogden and guitarist Luis Cabezas, this power duo has built a legacy of anthemic tunes, relentless touring, and an unwavering DIY ethos. But what sets them apart isn’t just their music—it’s their ability to balance the chaos of rock n’ roll with raising kids that are now old enough to take the stage on their own.
Growing up together in Florida, followed by a decade-long stint in Los Angeles, The Dollyrots emerged from the L.A. punk scene with a style that blends humor, heart, and high-energy. The band has released nine studio albums starting with a 2004 debut on the legendary Lookout! Records. The next two LPs came out through Joan Jett’s Blackheart Records, followed by several DIY, fan-funded releases and a current alliance with Stevie Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records. Long a staple in rotation on Sirius/XM’s Little Steven’s Underground Garage, the band’s output perked up the ears of the Wicked Cool founder & E Street Band powerhouse. “Their songwriting has reached a consistent level of greatness,” Van Zandt says. The Dollyrots are keeping the momentum going in 2026 with the release of the first single from their forthcoming ninth studio album, “Apocalyptic Romance”, which will be followed by extensive touring through 2027.
The duo have played over two thousand shows, both headlining and supporting the likes of Bowling For Soup, Buzzcocks, Joan Jett, The Go-Go’s, The Breeders, and many more. The band is no stranger to success, hitting the Billboard Heatseekers and Independent Albums Top 20 several times and featured in movies and TV shows including “Nimona”, “Billions”, & “The Price Is Right” along with classics such as “Easy A” and “CSI:NY”. Their anthem “Because I’m Awesome” is the top track from a catalog amassing over 25 million streams, while becoming a rallying cry for sarcastic self- confidence. The most recent album Night Owls is co-Produced by longtime collaborator John Fields (Jimmy Eat World, All Time Low, Meet Me At the Altar) and includes multiple tracks receiving heavy rotation on Sirius/XM and featured on NPRs New Music Friday and Spotify’s New In Punk Playlists. The band’s influence also extends to the radio, where Kelly stars as a DJ on Sirius/XM Channel 21 The Underground Garage. She also shares a side project with Bowling For Soup frontman Jaret Reddick called Jaret and Kelly.
Kelly and Luis aren’t just bandmates; they’re life partners who’ve taken their music and turned it into a family affair. Their two kids, River and Daisy, have grown up on the road, trading playgrounds for green rooms and bedtime stories for soundchecks. Instead of seeing family life as a limitation, Kelly and Luis have woven it into the fabric of their music and lifestyle. Their fans have watched them grow from scrappy up-and- comers to seasoned musicians and parents, and that connection makes the music hit even harder. They show that you don’t have to give up your passions to raise a family, proving that punk rock isn’t just about rebellion—it’s about creating your own path and sticking to it, no matter what.

Leggy is a Cincinnati indie rock band whose razor sharp songwriting, magnetic live performances, and blend of melody and distortion have earned them a devoted following far beyond the Midwest. Leggy began after vocalist and guitarist Véronique Allaer broke her hip while living in Washington, D.C. The injury prompted her move back home to Cincinnati, where she teamed up with drummer Chris Campbell and bassist Kerstin Bladh to channel a growing catalog of songs into a new band. Since then, Leggy has evolved into its current lineup with Chris Campbell, Alessandro Corona, and Sarah Hanselman, earning a reputation for hook-filled indie rock that blends biting wit with emotional candor, pulling equally from post-punk urgency, power pop hooks, and garage rock grit.
After years of relentless touring and a string of acclaimed independent releases, Leggy signed with the acclaimed UK label Damnably, expanding their international audience while continuing to sharpen their distinctive voice. The partnership marked a new chapter for the band, introducing their music to listeners across Europe and beyond. Building on that momentum, Leggy later teamed up with Sheer Luck Records to release Let Me Know Your Moon, a record that further showcased their evolution while preserving the raw energy and fearless songwriting that first put them on the map
Leggy self released “Dramatica” in 2023 and have since earned support slots with Cursive, Otoboke Beaver, and Olivia Jean.
